Mindset MondayFitness culture has a big influence on exercise and nutrition. Unfortunately it is often focused on aesthetics and sexuality rather than health.
Consider the difference between these two words: exercise and movement. While our bodies are made to move, most of us are not created to intensely exercise for extended periods of time. Consider which types of movement make you feel good. For me, I feel best when I exercise intensely two or three times a week. I balance that intensity with walks with my dog and gentle stretching on other days. Focus more on how movement makes you feel and less on whether you fit into the cookie cutter version of "in-shape."
