From a Place of LoveEat Outside the Box was created from an overflow of love: love for an individual and a passion to see them thrive.
Prayer and meditation are a part of my regular routine. Usually I read Scripture and spend some time using a phrase from my reading as my mantra. Then I invite stillness and just listen for God's voice. Other times I may use a guided meditation, but often when I do it requires me to discern whether or not the words line up with God's truth. A guided meditation may state, "I create my personal abundance from an infinite source." My mind wrestles. I see an abundant table laid before me, and the source of the abundance is infinite, but I did not create it. It was prepared for me by God (Psalm 23:5). Then I feel peace and I enjoy some of the gifts from the Father of Lights (James 1:17): -colorful fruit, vegetables, grains, oils, nuts, fish and meat -a hiking trail with rocks to climb, babbling brooks and waterfalls -a peaceful resting place where my soul is restored No, I did not create these good and perfect things - they are gifts. I am overwhelmed with gratitude. My prayer for you is that you will take the time to listen and hear the voice of your Creator, that you will observe the good and perfect gifts He has prepared for you, and that you will thrive as you learn to incorporate these gifts into your daily life.
