MISSION STATEMENT

Mindset Monday

I was on a spiritual retreat in the fall of 2015. I wrote a mission statement that would govern not only my personal life, but how I was going to handle each person with whom I interacted in my work environment. I pulled this this statement out and discovered it still holds true for my vision for Eat Outside the Box.

I have the God-given capacity to invest my talents in the lives of others to increase their own gifts.
Therefore today I will:
- Serve the greatest and the least with the same Love that overflows from the Love that Jesus pours into me
- Care for my soul by using time and resources to bask in the presence of God
- Be seen as God sees me, thriving in my strengths and humbly accepting my weaknesses
- Conscientiously attend to my tasks and take the opportunity to learn new things
- Invest in friendships

​Today I will help you develop your God-given gifts by investing my time, talent and treasure in you.
